Compression Ring and Rafters

No metal parts are used in the manufacturing of the compression ring. This one is made with pieces of larch assembled with wooden pins and "biscuits". Mortises are made all around the ring to hold the tenons of the rafters. Kingpins retain the rafters compression ring together.
